2.1 Local Storage Only
The only information the App stores is:
- Your favorites — the list of kalams you have marked with the heart icon. This is saved locally on your device using the device's on-device storage and never leaves your device.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, IP address, device identifiers, or any analytics data. There are no accounts, no logins, and no sign-up required to use the App.
2.2 No Analytics or Advertising
The App contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or share any information with any third party.
3. External Content
Some kalams include optional links to YouTube videos of related recitations. When you tap the play button, the YouTube player may load content and services provided by Google LLC. Your interaction with YouTube is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, not by this policy.
The "Share" option uses your device's built-in sharing sheet. When you share a kalam, the receiving app you choose handles the shared content under its own privacy policy. We do not see or process the content you share.
4. Permissions
The App requests no special permissions from your device. It does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or precise location. All functionality (reading, searching, bookmarking) works without any sensitive permissions.
5. Data Security
Because the App does not transmit your data anywhere, there is no data stored on remote servers to protect. Your favorites remain stored solely on your device. You can clear them at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by reinstalling the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-purpose devotional reading application and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, there is no data to misuse.
